Many months ago we wrote a post featuring framed wallpaper panels that acted as accents rather than backdrops to their spaces. In this new year, let's check out the newest examples we've found in which this treatment enhances already-beautiful rooms.

great as a headboard
Love this look, but where do you get frames big enough without spending a lot of money?
You have to build the frames. Go to a big box home improvement store and look at mouldings. You'll need a mitre.
But what do you mount the wallpaper to? Particle board? and then frame?
Looks amazing as a headborad! I think I will have to keep that idea in mind.
Love love love this idea! I want to wallpaper my living room but I think I will do this instead so when Im tried of it I can just take the frame down!!
I love this idea for super expensive wallpapers that we all love but can't afford to wallpaper a room in. Must try this idea out sometime.

I had one of those in my inspiration flickr. I like this one too wallcovering the inserts of a old door-

The paper is usually applied to the wall and then framed, but I've also mounted it to a board and hung it like a regular piece of art. Removing wallpaper from a wall can be a real pain.
i have a large piece of wallpaper framed over my bed and another smaller version in a brighter color near the dresser! LOVE IT!
