Every Geek's Dream: The No Exercise, Calorie Burning Hobart I-Cool Chair

Somewhere between "WTF?" and "OMFG!" lives the concept of the Hobart I-Cool seat. Looking like a rejected extra from the Transformers flick, this concept from Padwa Design claims calorie burning abilities no last-decade Aeron can promise: a more svelte figure. How it does this is unclear, except it has something to do with "significantly increased sedentary calorie burn rates" via "temperature regulation". Sounds like a lot of hot air to me, literally...

The chair can also be set to just make your workspace around you more comfortable, with its option of temperature controls...an option we should never show our girlfriend, who proclaims arctic conditions during warm Los Angeles summer evenings. No word yet when Tel-Aviv's Padwa Design's I-Cool Chair becomes a reality, but it should give them enough time to improve on that name.
