Monika Järg has an interesting approach to textile design — she incorporates stitching into just about everything she makes, even hardwood flooring. Järg has managed to incorporate yarn and stitching to such an extent that the line between textile and hard surface is blurred, yet beautiful.
Shown above, from left to right:
1 FLOOR: Wooden carpet, stitched with woolen rope.
2 DOTFLOOR: acoustic panel for wall or for floor; made of birch and felt.
3 KRUSS: Stitched rubber tires for sitting.
4 COSMOS: sitting-balls, stitched with white, black, red or grey yarn.
5 Stitched license plates.
