When Halloween grows near, there's three things we look forward to: 1. The Martha Stewart Living Halloween Edition, 2. A socially accepted excuse to stuff our pockets with Tootsie Rolls, and 3. Evita Smith's Sophisticated Spooky Decor. This year Evita's been busy making bats and other assorted crafts and the results are festive and fun.
When you think of Halloween decor, most things tend to go over the top. They feel festive and all, but a little commercial and Evita always seems to find a way around that. Most of the things in her displays are thrifted and given new life with a little paint or are common items used in unusual ways.
Make sure to check out all the different angles of this year's look above and check our post on her display from a few years back. It's always interesting to see some of the same things being used in different ways to give completely different look and feel.
You can find more of Evita over at The Happy Heathen where she's always making things feel slightly vintage, natural and glamorous all at the same time.
