White Enamel Flatwa...
Northern Exposure is right...seems very cold to me. Not a room I could be in for very long without feeling very uncomfortable. That's just me.
It's beautiful. Very serene.
I disagree cbreynolds. I think the textures keep it from feeling too cold.
I old do with a bit more color but love he simplicity. I bet it feels different in the room too than he photographed.
I hope it feels better than it photographs, because that is really depressing to me. And I like white, black and grey. But, god, just the photos are enough to make me itchy.
I like it. It's simple yet elegant. I would add a bit more color though if this was my space, maybe some art on the wall where the tv is hanging or cushions on the benches underneath the tv. But as this is not my space and the owners feel happy...then Yay! Very pretty and soothing.
The sunlight and plants probably warm it visually. I agree with the previous posters about the textures and serenity. I like it a lot.
stunning.
I love it! Except for the ceiling fan.
dreamy - love the textures and all the whites.
Simple and peaceful! We too just got a multi-light arc floor lamp, and this is giving me great ideas on how to use it ... thank you! :o)
What did they use to hide those TV cords? And where did they hide the speakers?
ps. hey doggie i see you peeking
I love this room so much. Normally I HATE grey weather, clouds, northern light, drizzle, etc. but this room is very appealing to me. I can imagine spending an entire day on that sofa: chatting over breakfast and coffee, reading, lunch, internetting, telling stories, afternoon drink, adult time, dinner, after dinner drink, music, a movie, bedtime.
Ewa ... just dreamy ... love your natural combo of wood, foliage & that rug (looks like giant palm leaf). The sleek, enormous storage of that bank of bookshelves & long, low, maple entertainment console are beautiful. I imagine that they are efficient, necessary workhorses in this light color palette.
