Expecting Parents Move Offices to Make Room for Baby

Photographer Joyce Cadena-Hannon and her partner are expecting a baby, and like so many other expecting parents who work from home, they've had to make some adjustments. Their Boston apartment features a floating loft space that used to house their home office. Inspired by Apartment Therapy's Spring Cure 2010, the couple now wants to turn it into a nursery and have moved their office space to the open floor plan found below the loft.

While it's always nice to put your home office in its own private space, such as a raised loft, in this case the proximity of the ceiling would make us feel as if we were working in the offices in Being John Malkovich.

We much prefer the open air feel of the newly lowered office. Plus the Cadena-Hannons can now more easily procrastinate with that sweet flat screen TV in front of her. We can't wait to see how she transforms the nursery.
