As My Great Outdoors Month draws to a close, we thought we'd shift the focus back to interior decoration inspired by the outdoors. By now you've seen your fair share of branch decor, but these stand out for their serious interpretation of "bringing the outdoors in." Love or hate it? You tell us...

I LOVE those beds! I can't decide which I like more. And I love the 3rd pic as well . . .
I could only imagine though . . waking up in one of those beds and thinking you were in the first poltergeist movie . . .
Beautiful though! :)
Two makes me think of Homer's Odyssey. All you need are a few bronze axes in the living room to complete the look!
I LOVE IT!!!
Only in this room. I can see this bed being a mess elsewhere.
love it
Just got the Anthropologie catalog yesterday featuring this beaut: http://tinyurl.com/nwse67. Similar to #3, but I like the added cross branches on this one.
I like the branch beds, tho not so much looking at them as the idea of how great it would be to fall asleep looking at trees. Or, for that matter, waking up to trees. Love the branch in the dining room. Might steal this idea. The park is full of fallen branches the park service keeps dragging away.
oh gorgeous, I want one!!
Okay, if you love living and sleeping among trees, there's an old-fashioned solution. Build a tree-house. This was quite a movement for those with ample grounds.
No, I don't like the branch beds, or the branch lamps, or other aspects of branch decor. It's not quite as bad as antler or hoof decor (which I think is the worst, and veers into the macabre), but it kind of falls in the same category.
Folks, those branches are dead trees. If sleeping among dead trees awakes a fantasy within you, that's fine. Go ahead and gather the stone gnomes, hang iron fairies from the ceiling, and have a good time.
Wow- this reminds me of visiting a store in Traverse City, MI about 20 years ago- it was tourist trap selling overpriced down comforters and sheepskin coats, but they were selling a 4-poster bed made with the trunks of 4 enormous birch trees for 10k. Despite the ridiculousness of the bed and the price and the fact that the rest of my industrial-style furnishings would clash horribly, I do an exhaustive internet search for the damn thing a few times a year.
AustinSarah, ALL wood is "dead trees". Is your bed plastic??
I love love love the metal (I presume) bed with the nest. I suspect my ceilings are too low, but I want it!!!
