There's no longer time to mess around. If you're going to exploit summer for its healing properties, you must get on to that project pronto. Social Workout recommends you consider joining 1,500 or so other brave souls in our latest challenge, a two week joint production with Everyday Health. What's this got to do with furniture? Look, you don't want to end up feeling like an overstuffed La-Z-Boy before your time. The obvious solution is more exercise and healthier eating, and a strict limit on sedentary, screen-based entertainment, (certain design blogs notwithstanding). You've heard of "social media?" Well, this is "social fitness," and it turns out that group energy works, and tracking your daily behavior in the presence of others can have very beneficial effects. Kind strangers and nice prizes await you — like a one-on-one consultation with one of Everyday Health's certified nutritionists. Let's make the long days count.

I follow blogs so as to have some control over the continuous media messages encouraging me to "slim down" or "lose weight" or "get rid of belly fat." Those messages are harmful to people of all ages and encourage negative body image and the never ending quest for perfection, which is of course impossible.
I am disappointed to be unable to avoid such on Apartment Therapy, and honestly I do not see the relevance simply because you compared your readers to potential overstuffed chairs. Offensive.
I encourage you to be more selective of your sponsors, and pick ones based on their relevance to the rest of your material.
I agree this seems a bit misaligned with the AT content. However, I don't think encouraging healthy diet, some exercise, and less couch-sitting was meant to offend but rather to encourage healthier lifestyles.
I'm fine with encouraging healthier lifestyles, but this does not mean losing weight for all people. The button/image, "I <3 Summer Slim Down 2" is the part I have the biggest problem with, which focuses on losing weight in order to enjoy Summer instead of what the real message seems to be: making the most of the longer days by being more active. And regardless of the intention or not, it is not material suited for AT.
