A reader tipped us off to this multipurpose product which she saw on Unclutterer. In theory we love the idea of both a space-saving and money-saving ($150) product that can be used through birth as a seat or swing and then as an infant and toddler high chair and finally as a chair. But we wonder if this is a case of the whole being less than the sum of all parts?
Don't get us wrong - we applaud innovative attempts to problem solve for space-pressed parents and we're very interested to know what you think of this product (we haven't come across any personal reviews yet). It seems to us that the newborn seat (which doesn't bounce) and infant swing might cancel each other out since they're both intended to be used from 0 to 6 months. And the toddler chair doesn't look particularly comfortable to us (akin to sitting in a legless high chair all day).
Has anyone purchased this and can give us a review? What do you think - an answer to your small-space prayers or do you prefer to choose more feature-heavy individual pieces?

Shaw's Original Fir...
I saw these on display at a baby store, and I'm not convinced that there is enough space savings to justify the hassle.
It seems like the re-installation of the seat into swing or high chair fittings will quickly become a chore.
Part of the utility of high chair, baby swings, and seats is they offer a safe place to rest a child when a caregiver needs their hands free.
In terms of space it seems better to invest only in an infant swing or bouncer style seat then replace it with a small high chair (like the Fisher Price portable) when the child can sit up and begins eating solids.
Haven't used it myself, but I know for us a bouncing chair was critical - as the previous poster said, a safe place to sit that they enjoy. We never needed a swing or a toddler chair, and ended up with a highchair that looks smaller than the one pictured.
Hey! Another Adrienne. And I second her opinion. I do not like. It seems like each of the individual products would be kind of substandard. Like that infant seat. I think a bouncy seat winds up almost being a must for many babies. A seat that doesn't bounce doesn't seem so appealing to me. And I concur, the toddler chair doesn't look so great/comfortable. I'd pass on it.
It reminds me of a swing we had when the boys were little. The part they sat in was also a rocking chair you could remove from the frame when they got older, but the problem was then we had this bulky frame to store. So I just sold the whole thing when we were done with it, and it never got used as a rocking chair. Oh well.
I think the froggy pattern is super cute!
I can buy both a stroller frame and swing frame for our infant car seat for less than this, and use the car seat itself as an infant seat. For meals I prefer the booster-type seats that strap to a dining chair, since they take up less floor space.
I can see the usefulness of this product. I see it more as "grow with your child" thing, rather than switching between legs four times a day. When my child was young enough for the swing, she wasn't yet using a highchair. That didn't start until AFTER she had graduated from the swing. The toddler chair seems like it would be used later on, after graduating from the highchair. When I look at this, I see it as broken down into three stages. 1) Infant seat and swing (I'd use the swing at home and keep legs in the car to use the seat at grandma's); 2) Highchair; 3) Toddler seat. I must be the only person that went without a bouncy seat for all my children!
Lime green. Why? Dear god, why?
Why do baby products how to be so ugly?
I think the toddler seat is useless. As for my baby seat opinion, I bought for my daughter a Graco swing from which the seat could be removed and turned into a vibrating bouncer seat. I don't know if the make the combo now 2.5 years later, but it was a great idea. We used the swing constantly and the seat popped in and out of the swing arms very easily. We did buy a high chair, but I wouldn't do that if I had it to do all over again. I'd either buy a booster seat with a high back (maybe even on of the travel boosters so you get 3-in-1) OR get one of the seats that hooks onto the table, like Chico makes with a separate low-back toddler travel booster. Either way, boosters are good and high chairs are just a waste of space and money.
I personally purchased this for my daughter before she was born. I have found it VERY useful. I started it off as the swing, but she never really liked the swings much, but she used it as a swing a good month or two.
Then I used it as the infant seat ALL the time. I was breastfeeding so she slept with me frequently but she would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night unable to get comfortable next to me so I would place her in the infant seat (which I kept by the bed at all times) and she would sleep comfortably throughout the night.
My daughter is now 7 months old and we recently changed it to the high chair. She loves that thing so much! Sometimes she gets so fussy and nothing will make her happy unless we sit her in it, even if she isn't eating anything!
She hasn't quite started walking yet so the toddler seat hasn't been used yet, but even if she doesn't use it as that I can definitely say that this product was worth my money. And it is incredibly simple to change from one thing to another.
I also got the Triple Fun Exersaucer by Evenflo, it has also been found VERY useful. Here is a link if anyone is curious as to what I'm talking about.
