Name: Ezra Raphael
Location: Cranston, Rhode Island
We started with gray walls as the base of the room because I didn't want to use something that would make the already small room with slanted ceilings feel claustrophobic.
After choosing the Land of Nod Full Circle crib bedding I decided to use blue tones in the room as well, and then my mom made a quilt for Ezra featuring Heather Ross's goldfish fabric so I added lots of orange as an accent.
The room grew from there... I just bought stuff as I found it rather than looking specifically for items. We also borrowed things from around the house to add to the room, like the white dresser, silver clock, and book ends. The furniture is on the modern side but I think the addition of the pom poms, Jellycat animals, and other details like the artwork make everything feel warmer.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I love this! It looks cozy for a cute little guy, as well as for Mom. It's a good reminder for me to put something comfy for myself in my daughter's room.
Gray, blue and orange are my favorite combo right now! The colors are great for a small one but will easily grow with him. What a warm and cozy room.
This is a great room--love the color combo. We used orange accents in my little boy's room. I'd never considered it before but it is such a cheerful color.
Love the pom poms on the window! So cute!
So cute and I can't help but thinking, "what is it with kids this age and pulling things apart?" Books on a shelf? Pull them off and fling to the floor! Good thing they're cute.
Love the room color... what is it??
looks great! i really love those decoration pom-poms everyone makes, but my stepson is allergic to dust(-mites), so no pom-poms or similar decoration in our home...
I'm an getting more and more drawn to orange as of late as evidence here: http://www.northerncottage.net/2012/02/how-to-make-rag-quilt.html
thanks for the orange inspiration!
I like everything about this room! The pom-poms above the window are great. I have an Ezra too. He's almost three and would love a space like this. ;)
The paint is called Ocean Dream and we got it at Lowe's but I can't remember the brand. My husband says the number the paint department needs to mix it is this: 101-46 102-1 214-14. Hope this helps!
