Sometimes I feel like most people must think we are a family of hoarders. Between keeping toilet paper rolls and fabric scraps, it's true we could be seen as such. But we always find ways to make projects with our "treasures", and while we were doing our Spring cleaning, we found a lot more fabric scraps than we expected.
Off to Google I went...what could we make with all these scraps!?
Here are a few of the projects my kids decided to take on:
• Body Outlines can be fun as a base for fabric collages. Christie over at Childhood 101 shows us an example of what can be done.
• This post at The Joy of My Life and Other Things spoke to me as it is mentioned right away that she lets her daughter do whatever she wants with the fabric. Do a drawing, glue the fabric on it, or freestyle it, whatever, just be creative and let it flow.
• Paper Doll Kit, This Mama Makes Stuff has a really nice tutorial on how to make a fabric scrap paper doll kit.
