We came by these pieces via our favorite embroidery blog (yes, we have a favorite embroidery blog), Feeling Stitchy, which created and posted this awesome mosaic of Cate Anevski's work. We love the idea of hanging a small collection of these whimsical (yes, we said whimsical) little faces on a nursery wall.
Each of these faces is an original design, hand embroidered by Cate, then mounted in an embroidery hoop, ready for hanging. Sizes range from 4 inches to just over 6 inches in diameter.
If you want to try your hand at your own face-broidery, patterns are available for $5. You can also buy a completed piece for between $20 and $35 at Cate's Etsy shop.

Cate was a member of the St. Louis Craft Mafia and her work is amazing, and affordable. Good luck on the west coast, Cate!!
On first pass, I didn't even catch the faces but on second look (plus a glance at the title), the features began to show!
These are so wonderful and imaginative! Excellent and unique faces!
