I love the mix of retro and vintage in NinaRibena's Lighthearted & Playful Colour. It's beautifully done.
Tell us about your favorite colorful object in your home:
I love my dining chairs. They were made in Denmark in 1920 - and they came with the designer's original drawings. I reupholstered them in one of my favorite colors - a rich pink - and I find them simply delightful.

Thankyou so much for your lovely comment Teu. Gosh your house is a joy to look at, I can better appreciate the gorgeous colours you have happening in there now...a delicate vintage look with bold colours, lovely...and your chairs are gob-smackingly GORGEOUS! another beautiful kid-friendly home, nicely done.
This place gives me the warm and happies!
This is the sweetest house ever. I don't know what it is, exactly, but it has all the right touches of vintage and modern mixed together.Yyour textiles are fabulous.
Beautifully done.
I am in love with this place!
This house just glows. I find the color combinations so inspiring and original. And I really covet that kitchen.
Lovely. Your dinning table is divine. Perfectly narrow. May I ask where it is from?
Best of luck to you!
Amazing use of color! so bold, but harmonious. I doubt you even notice that it's raining when you're in this house.
Thank you all for the lovely comments! ;)
Lourdes - my husband designed and built the table and I absolutely love it!!! Because our place is small, he designed it to open up to double the width you see in the photo. It seats up to 10 people when open.
Yay. I've been waiting to see more of your place!
I'm very jealous of your dining table.
It reminds me of the double teak dining table from DWR. I wanted that table so bad but it was just too big. I had someone quote me a price to build one like it and just the wood cost as much as the table from DWR and it was smaller!
Anyway, your place is ripe with happiness, uniqueness and all that good stuff.
Thank you Teu.
If your hubby ever sets up shop in NYC, please let him know he has a customer-in-waiting here!
Cheers!
