Stainless steel range hoods in the kitchen? That's old school and oh-so low-tech. Bring your stove into the future with an all-in-one venting range hood and LCD TV combo...
We're already impressed with this tempered glass range hood for using LEDs for lighting. But the obviously uber-cool feature that separates ordinary hoods from extraordinary hoods is the fact that there's a 19" LCD TV built right in to that glass front.
We can't think of a better way to get a TV into the kitchen. Our only wish is that we'd be able to wire that screen up to the 'net for access to cooking shows and recipes.
It's from Italian range hood company Falmec. We can't seem to find it on their North American site, but if any of you can get around in Italian, feel free to check it out at Falmec's premier site.

This is the worst place in the kitchen to have a TV. It's sure to get coated in grease and look terrible after you try to clean the grease off. Except for those areas that you can't clean (air vents anyone?) where the grease will add to the thermal load of the unit. Before turning rancid. Bad. Idea.
