Today, we say goodbye to what feels like a dear, smart, hilarious friend. It's The Toast's final farewell, and we just couldn't let the day pass without saying thanks for three amazing years.

Hillary Clinton already remarked on the impact of The Toast this morning; Nicole Cliffe, Mallory Ortberg, and Nikki Chung created a space in the vast expanse of the internet that felt like home and gave women a place to share their unique voices. There were plenty of laughs, but also important conversations about race, feminism, adoption, and countless more.

Even Apartment Therapy got The Toast treatment— everyone from Jay Gatsby to Lady Macbeth has shared their hopes, dreams, and design decisions in Great House Therapy.

And while we're feeling a bit too witches right now, we're excited for what comes next from The Toast writers and editors.

A willing foe, and sea room to you all.
