It's easy to succumb to the dreariness of these winter days - cold winds, short days, and gray skies. To fight off the winter blues, I decided to throw a small party this weekend. With just two days to go, I need to keep the decorations simple but festive.
While hunting for inspiration, I spotted these lovely decorations over at Aesthetic Outburst. So fun and on closer inspection you can see how easy this look is to achieve. Crepe paper in a few colors strewn across the ceiling (a childhood favorite of mine) is an easy and inexpensive way to make an impact in little time. And "Party!" spelled out in color masking tape? Very charming. For more photos of this lovely party, check out Aesthetic Outburst.

i love crep paper too! my folks came down and we decorated our kids birthday party across the entire ceiling. i put blue and lime green together and twisted the two together. love it!
great ideas!! also excellent ideas for a small room in which there is no choice but to keep decorations small and simple.
