Did you know it's now possible to have a light-and-water show in your very own home? That's right, for only £399.99 ($626.62) the water streaming from your tap can be illuminated!
Though the Franke Rolux Pull-Out Spray Tap (available through Range Cooker King, among others) is being sold for the kitchen, I think it makes a lot more sense in the bathroom. The bathroom is definitely the room in the house I use the most without turning on the light. A little window means it's not pitch-black, but I don't need light to get a drink of water or brush my teeth in the middle of the night after falling asleep on the couch. Glowing water could seem cheerful and cozy, friendly even, especially if bad dreams had woke me up. But for $626 I could hire a butler to comfort me after nightmares!
Anyway, what do you think? Where and how would you use this LED equipped faucet?

You can find things like this for way cheaper, like on this website:

Bathroom, definitely, but who could sleep after spending that kind of money on a faucet?
In my spaceship?
I have that led light on a faucet from thinkgeek.com. I've had it for probably 5 years and it's great. Quite a conversation starter when people use my bathroom.
I've seen one of those in a kitchen and I think it looks awesome. I have no idea of the price but it was probably not the cheapest faucet in the store. But hey, some people like designer dishes, other people like fancy faucets...
Bathroom, definitely the bathroom. It would come in handy at around 4 am.
Am I the only one thinking, "Electrical wiring and running water, together at last!"
I'm sure it's safe, but it just doesn't seem like the most sensible idea.
Don't need to worry about electricity and water together. Those are LEDs, they could even be lit by the power generated by the water flow itself. And for the price tag, they surely are.
Gimmick
NO WAY. I have a young child. She would waste about a million gallons of water before the novelty wore off.
