Have a seat, folks! From Kenneth Cobonpue's chairs made from fabric tubes woven over steel frames to classic American woodworking, these are 10 of my favorite chairs from the Architectural Digest Home Show.
• Kenneth Cobonpue — The Cabaret chair, made of fabric tubes woven over a steel frame, is available in both indoor and outdoor versions.
• Kenneth Cobonpue — The Rapunzel chair made with hand coiled upholstered foam that is woven over a steel frame, with matching seat and back cushions. Also available as for indoor and outdoor uses.
• BDDW — There's so much to love about this chair. The shape, the low seat, the dark blue upholstery and the cast iron feet. It seems at once masculine and feminine, modern but old-fashioned.
• New Traditionalists — Hello, plaid! The company's Chair No. One Eighty in plaid upholstery with leather piping detail.
• New Traditionalists — The buckled orange leather straps on the back of this dining chair are such a fun juxtaposition with the chair's traditional frame and sheepskin upholstery.
• New Traditionalists — Likewise, the lace up back on this green barstool is a great unexpected detail.
• Craft Fabricators — By all appearances, the Spring Chair doesn't seem like it should be comfortable. Made from bent steel, the seat on the colorful green chair is actually quite ... well, springy!
• Wild Chairy — Using old world upholstery techniques, Andrea Mihalik uses bold fabric choices to create modern classic chairs.
• Keating Woodworks — Who can resist a classic rocking chair? Geoffrey Keating is a fifth generation furniture maker with an awesome attention to detail and love of craftsmanship.
• O & G — The eye popping colors on the chairs from this Rhode Island studio give a modern update to classic American designs.

With all the knots and crevices, most of these chairs are dust collectors. I hope that you enjoy cleaning! After years of homemaking, I look for clean lines and smooth surfaces.
Some look dated
Some look uncomfortable
Some look odd
Some look funky cool
They all look like they're made just for show, not for comfort. I'll stick with something I can sink into and get comfy.
Saw the booth and was knocked out by the whole Kenneth Cobonpue exhibit.
That orange plaid screams for re-upholstery! The only one I might live with is the green lace-up.
The Spring Chair might not be comfortable, but I wouldn't mind having it displayed in my garden like a statue. It's gorgeous.
green springey one for the garden (idea kudos to @little one), green lace up for my dining room, and the orange trio for naughty students awaiting punishment.
And I agree with @magalita - that white one especially would be impossible to keep clean.
The wooden rocker is gorgeous. The exaggerated wings not so much.
