Name: Faye
Location: Uxbridge, Massachusetts
My husband and I just moved into a cute little apartment in a small town in Massachusetts. I am a recent Fashion graduate from Mass College of Art and Design and love all things retro/vintage with a hint of modern. Each piece of furniture in our home is a special find, usually at some amazing low prices. We shopped salvation army, local vintage retailers, Ikea, antique shops, and local artists.
I love color and thought long and hard about each individual room. Each one has its own flavor and collection of art and furniture pieces. The house is an old one and it has some wonderful features. All of the trim is the original wood and the kitchen (my favorite room) still has the original porcelain sink and white metal cupboards with magnetic closures. We had to do a few diy renovations including ripping out the ugly linoleum flooring in the bathroom and putting down a brand new floor and new walls to replace the fake tile that was falling apart. All the beautiful wood floors, which were originally just being waxed, we covered in a few layers of polyurethane.
We love our first home together and would love the opportunity to share the work and creativity we've put into it with everyone!
Thanks, Faye!

Yummy!
love it
So cute!
This has to be one of the most delicious apartments I think I have ever seen. Bravo! Well done.
I love that blue in your living room area. What color is it? And why did you leave the ceiling white?
Cheers!
Cheryl
I love all the colors in each and every room!
What color is the ceiling of your living room? I can't tell if it's pink, or just looks that way. I love your apt! So nice, and thoughtful.

nice! and also love the perfect blue paint color over the couch!!!
Very cute apartment -- although I feel like the photos have too much manipulated saturation/contrast so we're not seeing the true colors of anything... But as for the home itself it's adorable. I'd love to see more homes like these that are liveable and attainable to the average reader.
So, I think a HT is required. =)
Cute and real. Liking the bathroom!
i love the bathroom walls and the contrasting black pieces. i also love that decorative oval frame with the fabric :)
Huh I know Uxbridge, it's a lovely little town. Cute apartment too.
I like the color you use in your bathroom a lot, but I always worry about using a cool color in a bathroom - it washes out skin tones in the mirror, I think. How do you like it?
Great space! I live in the general area (Central Mass) and would love to know some of the local furniture vendors you used.
Very cute...Would love to see a HT.
Adore, adore, adore. I would never leave the bathroom, if only to go to the kitchen. :)
I have the decals on my fridge too!

yay for great minds!
What lovely bathroom fixtures you were blessed with! And I love the old wooden floor in there (instead of tile). It really warms up the room.
Fun, comfortable, lived-in space that looks like it gets decent sunlight. Lovely home.
Well done! I particularly love the way you delineated the bed by painting the ceiling and wall only around the bed in yellow...and added the flowers in place of a headboard. This is all very good feng shui. And I also love that you have the old wood floors in the bathroom! What a luxury!
Full tour, PLEEEASE!!

Huh! I grew up in the town next door, Mendon, MA. Cute place you've got!
We are so envious of that sweet, sweet pad - adorable! Particularly the ornate, oval frame in the hallway. We're biased, of course, but can't help think that the walls could stand to do with a few more frames... hmmmm.
yep. adorable. needs a house tour
I'm smitten!
I LOVE the old-fashioned sink and toilet!
Shelves too high in the living room... maybe add a third one below? Cute kitchen though!
