Before you check out these photos of this flat in Denmark, you might want to consider dimming your computer screen or donning on a pair of sunglasses. The colors in this home is...daring? Fearless? Bright? How about all of the above? This 800 sq ft apartment features a mish mash of different decor styles, all tied together with saturated colors and unexpected patterns. This may be the exact opposite of that Swedish summer home we've been drooling over, but we certainly appreciate this home's daring color combinations. Check out some of the photos after the jump...

Yowsah! These photos are so uplifting on this rainy day that I'm experiencing. I have to say, though, that, judging from the details of the images, like the tones in the shadows, it definitely seems like the photos were Photoshopped to enhance the colors, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Love it!!
The hot pink and blue Marias chairs made me a little sad. They are so beautiful in their natural color.
way to take some chances.
If the bathroom tiles were blues and teals and aquas, I'd love it! The green is ok, but not my taste. Same with the green fireplace -- interesting, but not something I'd be comfortable living with long term. But I want to won that sofa throw! Portable color is so much easier for me to deal with than built-in.
This makes my heart sing!!
What are the essential elements that tie together the liberal use of color (as seen here for an example)? My eyes crave brights and contemporary colors as well as dark and traditional patterns. Is it possible to unify the two together? I don't see many traditional or dark elements in this example and it makes me wonder if the two are not meant for each other (poor souls).
Love that quilt draped across the back of the sofa.
Whoa... I looked at the rest of your pictures on Bolig! The purple tile bathtub... crazy! And the little girls room... I can't imagine ever having an unhappy day in this home. I try to put color in my home and yet, I just keep popping up with the safe whites and tiny bits of color. Very inspiring!
I would kill for a kitchen this big. And those floors and ceiling are amazing.
Oh...and ditto on the photoshopping. Unless they purchase books by spines that coordinate with the decor.
When I saw the headline, I was excited to get some ideas from someone else who loves to be surrounded by color. The house has some color, but not to the level I expected -maybe I can't see the true colors on my phone browser. Our house must be off the color charts then. For a previous post ... We have very traditional furnishings and a bunch of family antiques, and our house is filled with about 15 bright colors. I think it works, although it's a work in progress. I'm there with kids all day, and I just can't stare at beige walls. My husband must be a saint to live in it. I really don't think it's all that crazy, but it does make these articles look rather tame in comparison.
Great, great colors!
Lovely colors! Colorful homes make for happy homes!

Gorgeous, I really love this one.
Only one thing I don't like...how can a bookcase be so empty?!
