Inspired by Art: Feast in the House of Simon Seating & Table by Fiftytwothousand

ICFF 2012

It's such a delight when modern furniture is inspired by something from long, long ago. Such is the case with Fiftytwothousand's Feast in the House of Simon pieces.

It all started with this painting. Designer Mark Moskovitz saw it while studying abroad and the design of the table legs stuck with him.

He set about to design a table with similar legs. And the Feast in the House of Simon table was born.

What's a table without seating? The design used for the legs of the table are carried over to a chair and bench as well.
