Feeding Birds Boutique is a hop, skip and a jump down the street from where we live. The storefront has been home to various businesses in the past, but we never stepped foot indoors--until now. A welcoming entryway has been created by shop owners David and Daisy-Alexandra, complete with a bird feeder (for feeding birds, of course) and comfy lounge chairs for soaking up the sun.
Indoors, you'll find the space cozy and welcoming, with a pet canary named Caruso that sings while you shop. The store is chock full of decorative accessories for the home with rows of vintage drinking glasses greeting you as you walk in the front door. An armoire boasts baby blankets and accessories by local artisans for the little ones. In the adjacent space you'll find colorful cookie jars that would pep up any kitchen that needs a little lightening up. Because we covet desk accessories, we zeroed in on all things paper (not to mention all the vintage glass decor and artwork). We think Feeding Birds Boutique is the perfect store for picking out gifts for friends when you want to find something unique and in your price range (just don't forget to pick out something for yourself).

I love the turquoise and the vintage furniture! what's the cross street?
Sydney, I'm assuming its in the building near Magic Gas. ya know, the one that houses Flounce, LadyBoy, Lucas, Chango, and Show Pony (RIP)...
Actually, it isn't. It's north of those shops. Close to Effie.
Stopped by this boutique last week- it's really cute- lots of unique knick knacks for your apartment (and great clothes too!) The owners are super nice and make you feel welcome while you shop.
Are those shutters made of sticks?
I've been there, too. It's a lovely store run by lovely people.
I want that stick door!
