I was just smitten with Suzy Ultman's "Little Kukla" fabric. Especially those onion domes… too cute. My husband is an Orthodox priest, so it was just too funny and perfect to pass up.
So I decided to do a room that was inspired by Russia. I made the most of everything, because I didn't have the money to buy a lot of things outright. But I'm not hearing any complaints from the kid. I think she's cool with it.

White Enamel Four-P...
go GR!!! LOVE this room!
Love this! where is the rocking peacock from?
I LOVE the crayon lamp idea... did you just hot glue them on? I'm only a little bit crafty, and would love a how-to!
Oh that rocking caterpillar/peacock thing? (We're still unsure of the species). Maybe you can find it online? It's from the Charm Company. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SE3CQU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=gabriela0a-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002SE3CQU
The lamp! Yes! I saw this. . .

But I couldn't afford it (and I didn't like the cord placement). Soooooo I found this U-G-L-Y Detroit Pistons lamp at Goodwill. Spray painted it with oil rubbed bronze spray paint (I used what I had) and grabbed a 64 pack of crayons. I just hot glued them on and they've held up great. The only thing I wish I would have done was make sure all the labels were pointed out nicely. Also start with the side with the cord because if there is the slightest gap (like mine) you don't want it to show!
Very fun whimsical room!
