For the modern child. The simple lines, natural wood and thick felt in this child's chair by Bookhou feel like a fusion of Danish-inspired Mid-Century modern and industrial Soho design.
Each chair is custom made from ash wood in Canada by Bookhou (the felt cover is removable). This is an investment piece at $220 CAD, but a stylish investment for sure.

Bookhou offers a similar chair, Petit Chaise no. 1 (temporarily out of stock), for less than half the price ($90 CAD).

Almost as awesome as their tea towel calendars and tea cozies!
Okay, it's pretty cool, but what toddler could possibly get comfortable in it? Not to mention the Owie potential should some little tyke accidentally bump into it with his noggin. Yikes.
ff1 or fox & freeze1 is an indoor lounge chair made out of 1 square sheet of synthetic felt
there is no loss of material (except from the drilled holes), it is not supported with wood or metal or other the structure is self-supporting, the flax rope contracts the chair and finishes the chair aesthetically
the shell and base are not separated from the sheet but remain connected
starting from a square surface, the felt sheet is twisted and twisted again, just like a scarf, ending in a symmetric and but also an asymmetric object, this is literally forms follows function.
