On the heels of our felt board post comes this great idea for a felt Christmas tree. Natalie of Johnny In A Dress came up with this festive idea just in time for the holiday season.
Like Natalie, you can cut out the basic shape of a Christmas tree and then have fun making decorations and ornaments to adorn it. The little ones will have a great time decorating and un-decorating the tree over and over. For more details, check out Natalie's blog Johnny In A Dress.

I originally spotted this concept here :

Still been meaning to make one for our house.
i just did something like this the other night. our toddler is opening a new felt ornament each day for advent, squealing "oh wow!" and running over to place it (as close as humanly possible) by the other ornaments. it's awesome :)
Yep, saw this on Pinterest and it has worked marvelously. You can cut your own shape of Christmas tree and ornaments. It's a great inexpensive idea. And how cool is it that felt sticks to felt!? Ah, the small things in life.
check out that play kitchen in the background! Loving the ruffles!!! Great find!
This is awesome! I am on my way to the fabric store now. I did not want a Christmas tree but I did want something my 2 year old and I could do together, this is better than perfect!
