We're having a felt moment. Jumpstarted by coveting our friend's new slippers, it was underlined yesterday by Danielle's Felt Clock post over at ATSF. Suddenly the fabric, despite its unseasonality, is feeling very appropriate. Perhaps it's that handmade note. We like it mixed with the unexpected; these Felt bowls on a lucite table would feel modern to us.
Coasters, of course, are a natural for felt. These are available through Abode Living or do as Readymade suggests and transform old sweaters into coasters. Wash sweaters in hot water and dry them on high heat. Cut them out and voila, insta-coaster.
Wine stored in this rack would be less likely to clatter and clink.
A felt table? Why not? Soft Table via LoyalLoot.
And of course we like this Felt Vase by Samira Boon. A felt version of the classic Flex Vase, we're not sure if it's available or available Stateside yet, but we could see it snaking across the credenza Grace found today, filled with Gerber daisies.
