We all know the trick of putting a pot of water on a hot radiator to humidify a dry apartment, but who knew there were so many more non-electrical options to keeping moist during the winter months.
We're posted about the Japanese Cypress humidifier and now there's this guy, this time from Korea, that gets moisture into the air via felt.
The Love Pot uses a piece of laminated wool felt to evaporate water from the small cup it sits atop of. The humidifier/aroma diffuser can be had for $30 via the Nanum project, where 100% of the profits go to educational scholarships to impoverished children.

If these count then hang drying clothes should count.
I mean these might be a little cuter but they'd look aweful in my apartment and just take up space. At least my clothes need to dry anyway.
I found someone who makes ceramic humidifiers to hang on radiators that you fill with water. I just fill them each time I water plants and since they hang on the radiators they take up no room at all. I'm told they are popular in Europe especially Germany. http://www.flickr.com/photos/orngcatstudio/3850008406/in/set-72157603885298176/
