Movie set designers are masterminds at creating spaces that reflect the mood of the film … and the personalities of their characters. Each of these films boast bold and memorable female characters, and the set designers have clearly translated the lively personas of these women into the set décor of their bedrooms. I’m personally coveting the gorgeous acrylic bed from Dreamgirls and the white fur chaise with lucite legs from Auntie Mame – and of course am in love with the multi-patterned fabric in Charley’s (played by Julianne Moore) glamorous boudoir in A Single Man. Are there any bedrooms from Hollywood films that inspire you?

plus, the bedrooms in: shoot 'em up, moulin rouge, catwoman and sweet november. to name a few.
I bought satin sheets once and they lasted about a week. they were comfy, but wouldn't stay on my bed!
Auntie Mame! My favorite movie!
The Single Man bedroom is gorgeous. And of course it is because it was designed by Dan Bishop who does Mad men!
Just saw Rosemary's Baby again recently--had to smile a bit, as its sunny yellow and white post-makeover interior was so very Apartment Therapy . . . I thought, "aha! AT Gothic!"
i'm throwing in "charlotte gray." there's a lot to see in terms of rooms there. her london bedsit, her rich friends indian themed parlor, the french country manor.
