Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
My boyfriend and I grew up in Curacao (small island in the Caribbean) where the houses are big and have big yards. When we moved to Amsterdam, a big city, into a small apartment where we had to make it our "own".
We finally found ways to make it cozy and colorful especially in the cold winters that we are not used to. It's a place where our friends and us like to come home to and spend a lot of time together. I call our style Caribbean chic with local art and loads of color.

This is such a cute little space! My husband and I honeymooned in Curacao, and we've both traveled the Caribbean. This reminds me a lot of what our family room is like. I'm loving the Caribbean inspiration!

VERY cute! I have that same ikea bed-chair thing and I really mucked up the assmebly, so I have it permenantly folded open into a twin bed. I call it a day bed. :-P
