Her look came together with the help of some IKEA Lack shelves, a chalkboard wall, decals from Studio Violet, and a wonderful dose of good old fashioned natural light. What a great room!
Fernanda tells us, "I'm a huge fan of you site and it's been a great inspiration for me when decorating my kids room. We actually just moved from a tiny one bedroom apartment to a three bedroom one so they finally got their own room. I'm so happy with the result and I must say I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you for all the inspiration!"

Beautiful room! I'd love to know where the rug is from...it's almost exactly what I've been looking for.
lovely room!!!
Who makes that Play kitchen???
I'd love to know where to find that funny little reindeer creature!
here's the reindeer on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NT2334/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000SJVJGC&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0VYNNQSGSYJSS8XSV9XH
thought it would be a relative of Rody, but not quite.
Lovely room!
I would love to know where I can find Barbabeau(Barbapapa)? I grew up with the books and the tv series and I really want to get something like that for my son. Thanks!
Thank you so much for all the nice comments!
The little bed is vintage, from the 1930's I think. We bought it at the second hand market in Stockholm.
The rug is from Ikea. "strib" I think it's called.
The kitchen is from BRIO, a swedish toy company. Same I had as a child!
Barbapappa was bought in a small toy store in a small city where my parents live but I'm sure you can get it on the web somewhere. I'll check it out for you.
Oh, and the reindeer is very popular with my kids. There is also a pink elefant that's a jumping-toy thing as well from the same manufacturer.

Well done!!!!!
