The photo you see above is actually the 'before' photo of a leather sofa purchased for $75 on Craigslist which will soon be fixed by Fibrenew, a company that specializes in the restoration of leather and plastics. The chemicals used in the restoration are incredibly low in VOC-content, and the 'after' result is impressive.
While their process is a bit secretive (you can't buy their products, only their service), Fibrenew technicians claim they can repair your leather or plastic products to near-new condition. Just consider the amount of furniture that could be saved from the landfill through a quality restoration job such as this.
