A very old picture, his desktop probably isn't even like this anymore and congratulations, can I submit my clean desk and have it published on here now too?
I like it a lot and even if it is very old, I wouldn't have come across it if it wasn't for this post. How much free time for surfing do people who complain about old items in a.t. have in their hands?
Someone has gotten their panties in a twist. The photo is only from August and, at that, it's a "Final Frame" post...hardly the big topic for the day. Perhaps you should submit a photo of your desktop (nothing old please) and see if AT likes it enough to feature it.
outside of the caution tape, i approve of this man cave.
How much free time do I have? As much as someone that has time to reply specifically to say that about another poster.
This post just reminded me as much as this post, where I thought it was interesting too until someone said that are we really supposed to get so excited over someone cleaning up their desk?:-

Sadly, I agree, feedback, whether positive or negative should be taken as a compliment, since it shows that I care of the quality of the posts on here, on this website and shows that I come back here to view it regularly and obviously like the website in the first place.
Also, this picture is from at least March of this year, not that age means anything, just that I was trying to point out that its been out there for a long time and a lot of people have probably seen it a lot already. And if you haven't and are looking for more like this, including my desktop and where I originally saw this one, please either go to http://www.flickr.com/ or here http://macthemes2.net/forum/viewtopic.php?id=16777034&p=1 .
Again, I hate explaining what I originally mean in such a much shorter post before but didn't realise that it actually did need explaining. I just prefer posts on this website about interesting finds and new technological realises that may appeal to people that don't like searching around a lot but people's desktops aren't exactly hard to find, like I said above a quick flickr search will find loads of them and will even show this one pretty high up too and you don't have to wait almost a year to see it on a website like this afterward instead.
bluepanties: a clean computer workspace for many people is a common concern (we receive lots of reader letters about this topic). Some of our most popular posts have dealt with how to organize cables, wires and peripherals, monitor placement; this post itself has done amazingly well with readers despite the simple idea behind it.
Not everything on this site is going to be specifically about a technological product, nor do we limit ourselves to what was posted just today or even last week. A good idea can be revisited, and many people don't search Flickr regularly as you or I do. Sharing inspiration and ideas is at the heart of Unplggd's editorial goals, alongside organizing and incorporating technology in the home and decor, so you'll occasionally see decor-related posts mixed in with tech products.
Lovely setup. Would you be so kind as to provide additional information about the desk lamp you have there. I've seen it before somewhere but can't quite remember where that was. Also, I seem to remember having reservations about ordering it since I usually prefer Bi-Pin Halogen Bulbs. Any info would be most appreciated.
Cheers!
Brandon
Again, I just meant the technological part was related to the unplggd.com side of things, the flickr.com search was just a recommendation to post like this as it will give you a lot more inspiration in shorter time, especially if you're interested in looking for something more specific, this however, I don't see as giving anything. The main problem I had, was not what you get from the picture itself but more the article and its reference in the first place, all you have listed is the technological items on his desktop, which almost all the typical Mac user has to work with and compliment their Macs, its nothing original. However, what is original and is also what the comments are going on about from other people, is the use around the desk. I guess its just the writing and understand exactly what the original article was on about in the first place, there was no specific reason or topic behind it and if it wasn't for the description, I would have been completely lost at to what you were trying to get at with it.
However, this is completely taken out of control, of me trying to explain exactly what I meant with my original comment. It was not at all a negative or an unpluggd.com bashing comment, it was just feedback that I didn't understand what the article was about and was confused, thinking it was me, that I had completely missed something.
Also, on a more positive and constructive comment, I do love this desk, it's not however for me as I would find the walls behind the computer very distracting to work at all day long and find it a little too immature for my tastes, very different and unique though.
I also love the whole clean desks and organised spaces idea also and love seeing them posted here, just didn't see what was so different about this one but again, love the use of something a little bit different and beyond the whole idea and mass of overused IKEA products :).
My desk no longer looks like this. The walls are white. The camo was there when I moved in and never bothered to take it down and paint. The iMac is now downstairs and I've added a new 11in. MBA. I don't have any pictures, but a (bit) more recent photo can be seen on mdznr.com/desk
