Child paper shredder cherished rodent = lifelong trauma.
And I keep forgetting that plus signs won't post. You get the idea...
when i was a kid my hamster always tried to get out, and would. Figured out how to jam his food ball in the wheel, climb it like a ladder, and make his escape.
so if this one did that, he would end up, ummmm, in the shredder?
I don't think this is actually meant to be USED to house hamsters. It's much too small, and unless it's the quietest shredded in all the world, it's a sure way to give the hamster a heart attack.
It looks like the shredder is run by the wheel - see the gears along the side and the lack of any controls or a power connection on the shredder itself? Not to mention the header at the top of the page touting smarter homes with fewer wires... =)
