Was struck by the beautiful simplicity of both these two remote controls, designed decades apart, but sharing a philosophical lineage of "less is more".
I don't want to imagine how circumstantial it has to be to accomplish all the numerous functions of a modern TV with the left remote.The remote of the first TV I can remember had only 3 rocker switches (channel up/down, volume up/down, brightness up/down).
