Designer Michaël Harboun imagines a kitchen where elements and appliances appear and disappear depending upon necessity. The nascent shape changing technology is being researched currently at Carnegie Mellon University; the 'Claytronic' designs are composed of millions of small networked robots that could conceivably bring nearly any shape to life and then hide away when not in use. Creepy, yet an amazing prospect for those of who hate tech clutter in the home.
