It's been an inspiring three weeks of creative, stylish, small, cool kids' rooms! Your votes have narrowed the field to five favorites in the single and shared room divisions and three international rooms. Now, as hard as it is, now you have to pick your absolute favorite in each division.
Voting is open for 48 hours so cast your votes and get the word out! The top single room and shared room will each receive a $500 gift certificate to spend at Oeuf and a runner-up in each of these divisions will receive a $250 gift certificate to Oeuf. The top international winner will receive a signed copy of Apartment Therapy's Big Book of Small Spaces.

Ooh, I think Gabriella's Artful Dreamland and Elijah's Nook are my 2 favorites. I wish they were in different categories so I could vote for both. This was a great challenge. Next time I'd split it up for babies/kids since cribs can fit in much smaller spaces but will only work for a couple of years before a new solution has to be designed.
I love the soft colors and soothing feeling of J & J's snug harbor. It is the best design for a shared space for two fortunate little ones. It makes you want to snuggle.
I love the colours of Elijah's nook. So creative in such a tiny space.
I love Elsa's barn door room. It is simple, but interesting. Having reared three children I appreciate the fact that it is livable and playful. I like the accessibility of the chalkboard and the toys and books. I think Elsa must have fun in this room. PS great curtain wall
I love the snug bed in Maren's room. The colors are yummy.
CUTE CUTE CUTE!
I love the J and J room
What a wonderful contest. Love the J & J room. So bright and airy
Elijia's Nook is my absolute favorite! Good luck to all of you! Wonderful job!
Love the creativeness of blending boy and girl in a room.
So exciting ;)
Keeping my finger's crossed for Gabriella's Artful Dreamland!!!
By the way, the top link Smaller Cooler 2011 takes you to the old contest page, shouldn't it go to this finalists' page now?
Thanks.
Love Gabriella's Artful Dreamland!!! Goodluck :)
Great job! Such a lovely room. Good luck!
Is Maren's room actually a shared space? I mean, putting the occasional guest in there isn't really the same as having a full-time roommate.
Also, I was so torn between Sophie's and Elsa's. I voted for Sophie's, but that gnome stool would have won "favorite element." I'm grown up and I want one!
#1 Choice! J & J's SNUG HARBOR!! It really is a beautiful and well designed "Harbor" for the little ones to share wonderful memories.
J & J's Snug Harbor!!!! What can I say but beautiful!! Such a unique, yet soft, nautical touch to be shared by a brother and a sister in one room!! Wonderful job!!
Shadlyn - My criteria for a shared space is two beds as that is what eats up the most space in a room. But readers are free to weigh those considerations in their voting.

J & J's Snug Harbor gets my vote. Such a wonderfully put together room for two. I loved the nautical theme and the cool colors. The lights are charming.
J&J's room is adorable. So perfect for a brother-sister room!
Sophie's room is very cute and well done!
all of these rooms were so beautiful it was really difficult to vote...they are all winners in my opinion! =)
J & J harbor room is very well thought out, researched and conscious of being "Eco" which I appreciate. To create a room so peaceful and beautiful for mixed gender siblings 3 years apart? Great job, it really works. I also love the fact this room isn't cluttered with toys but keeps books only. Don't designers say its best not to have bright colors in the room where you sleep? I love the colors chosen for the little snug harbor, very soothing.
Has anyone else had their votes counted for a different entry than the one they voted for? It has happened to three different people in our household so I can't imagine we are the only ones.
Twice yesterday, a vote each was taken from Eloise's Novel Nook and J & J's Snug Harbor, and then once this morning for Eloise's Novel Nook. Both Eloise's votes were counted toward Elijah's, so really the count for Eloise should be 163 and Elijah's should be 162. Although this makes no difference in the outcome of awarding anyone prizes, it would have made Eloise place 2nd instead of 3rd (BTW, Eloise is NOT my entry). Just wanted the parents that entered Eloise's Novel Nook to know that they had at least 2 more votes than the results show!
Eloise's Nook is my entry, butez, so thank you for making a note of this. It's an honour to even be selected as a finalist, but even better to come in second!
