Brings new meaning to "his and hers." Here's a technology that creates artwork completely unique to you, because it's your own fingerprint that is blown up and becomes it's own masterpiece. The
FingerPrint process creates a piece that's as small as 12" x 12" or as large as 40" x 40".
The process takes 4-6 weeks once they've received your fingerprint via a special kit they send to you. As this picture shows, there's a lot of variety available, and prices start at $190.
Presumably this would also apply to "his his" and "hers hers"
Does anyone know where the bedding is from?
link?
Cool idea, but can't you do this yourself for next to nothing? Throw a little ink on your finger, press to paper, and get it blown up at Kinko's. Frame. Done.
cmschmidt - fixed. you don't happen to live in WI do you?
Johnp - I thought about adding that too but just left it at the cliche for the sake of brevity. =)
Ink finger rasterbation = art
mh330, i totally agree with you.
How exactly is an over-sized, over-priced fingerprint art?
I'm much more interested in the bedding than the "art".
nope. texas
I've seen this stuff before. I can't believe people make money off mass-producing this stuff and calling it art. Someone once suggested that you obtain your kid's fingerprints and have it framed as art for a birthday present for mom/dad. No thanks!
This would be SO EASY to do yourself, I'm shocked that people would pay that much for someone else to do it. It's a cute idea though.
They have the "kit" to make these at the MoMa store.
I like the custom DNA "art" that they do a little better.
Word, Kinko's it is. But onto more important matters, like that bed frame and the bedding on it.
