What a coincidence - I have begun obsessively researching Blomus products this week ever since I came across their line of wall-mounted (!) gel fireplaces: http://www.unicahome.com/catalog/item.asp?id=29779
While I know these are not really fireplaces at all - and they aren't that cheap to boot - I've been dying to add some kind of a fireplace to my pad and I don't think my board would let me add a gas one. Does anyone here have experiences with gel fireplaces or have any reasons to think getting one of these would be a good/bad idea? The square model with the round hole would look fabulous in this one spot in my living room!
I hate that "modern" sometimes looks soulless, like these fireplace tools.
