It's kind of hard to go without a washing machine. It's always possible to not use a dryer, but you need to wash your clothes. Having used a few laundromats, it's always best and easiest to have your own machine at home to do the laundry. However, not all washing machines are as efficient as these ones from Fisher & Paykel.

Fisher & Paykel are a company from New Zealand and they are well known for their eco-friendly washing machines. They have released some new washing machines. The new machines are available in a silver metallic decal and come with better designed buttons. The washing capacity is now 4.2 cubic feet.

The new machines will save water, time and money. The EcoSmart line uses 22% of the energy and 58% of the water a conventional washer uses. This is partly due to its 1000-rpm spin cycle, which also saves a 30% on drying. The AeroSmart dryer has moisture sensors that will automatically detect how long it will take a load to dry. Some models now have allergy cycles to remove a maximum of allergens.

The washers and dryers have other eco-friendly attributes, making them quite interesting if you are looking to upgrade your old washing machine. They are available from various online retailers and cost between $450 to $700.
