I just bought the Sara Midda book for our first, due in December, and love it!

I have the The First 1000 Days and love it. Lots of space to and suggestions of what to write. It's more free-form. Not filled with small, short lines where you MUST write the exact date and hour when baby's bilateral cuspid came in.

I wish I could look at these in person. They all look so different and unique.

The First 1000 Days is a great book, but I still was behind. I do most of that kind of thing electronically.

...is there a moms-who-failed-to-fill-out-their-baby-book(s) anonymous group somewhere?

(for the record, I have the Nikki McClure book for my second, and, in my sleep-deprived and post-partum move across the atlantic, got muddled in her months classifications (the month of the move threw me), and then my entries became all confused...

*sigh* ...the sad fate of the non-firstborn...

I received two baby books and both are pretty empty. Well, one is completely empty and the other only has stuff that happened prior (like baby shower info). That being said we have roughly 200 digital photos for each month and they're all time stamped so I have his firsts recorded in some way . . . just not written down.

Sandra Isaksson and there are the cutest stickers to put in the milestones pages. Really sweet this book is.

These are all lovely options, and I'm sort of dying over the Isak Baby Journal...however...I wish there were options as beautiful as these for children who are adopted (My husband and I are waiting to travel to adopt our beautiful baby girl who is currently 16 months old).

I've seen a couple of baby books for adopted children...but they all assume that the child was adopted at birth.

sigh. I will be creating something of my own for my little girl.
