We've only got one set of flannel sheets, so when switching them out for others, we notice a huge difference in how comfortable (warm) it is to climb into bed during the middle of winter. I have the Duvet cover that has ticking stripe on one side to matching chambray solid in the color" Ink" with the ticking stripe fitted sheet and pillowcases. I absolutely love them they get better and better after ever wash best flannel sheets I have owned.

They cost slightly less and plus the ticking stripe is really pretty and since the duvet cover is reversible so it can change the look a bit. The Chambory/Ticking stripe duvet queen cover is 76.00 and the Signature duvet queen cover is 100.00.
I did not base my purchase because they were less I had slept on them a few years ago at a winter retreat cottage a few years ago and put them on my must get list.
I got my flannel sheets at Marshall's for cheap. They are nice, but I find they create a lot of static. Maybe it's just me?
i received a set as a gift and loved them so much i purchased a spare. i really like them, and they hold up very well.
Eww.. flannel sheets. Gross. Cool cotton gets my vote year-round.
I had thick cotton flannel sheets for years back in the 90's - but I've grown to prefer the feel of simple high-threadcount sateen bedding.
I have a set of flannel sheets my mom purchased for me from somewhere. I put them on my bed a bit ago and was shocked at how warm I had forgotten they were. Made the cold nights bearable.
I think that the Garnet Hill sheets are simply the best flannel sheets. Period. I have two sets that are over five years old, and they are still soft, fluffy and not at all "pilled", unlike the flannel sheets I have from other stores. I do not know what the secret is, but they keep our wintertime cozy here at Acorn Cottage
