Does your desk need some office cred (It's like street cred, but dorkier)? An Anglepoise lamp would do the trick, but if you're a small-cool-desk kind of person, finding the room for one is tricky. But there's good news: That's exactly why the powered-up Flat Light Poster exists.

Designer Finn Magee had his first "Anglepoise" moment in college, like many people do.

After borrowing the task light and setting it up on his desk, he realized that it "lent an atmosphere of productivity and efficiency to the room." He soon wondered if maybe just a cheap picture reproduction of an Anglepoise-style task light could garner the same productive feeling.

Lucky for us, he found that it does. Unluckily, it's not cheap. Not this lit-up high design version, anyways.

The Flat Light Poster, which until now has been featured at the Royal College of Art Summer show in 2007 and as part of London's Designers in Residence at the Design Museum, has been produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces, each one available for sale online for $195.
