Styrofoam has never looked so good. Jo Nagasaka and Schemata Architecture Office in Japan have figured out a way to pour epoxy into holes in the Styrofoam to give it strength. When the epoxy hardens it creates a stable frame over the otherwise weak Styrofoam. The firm has also used this technique on discarded school tables – a beautiful use of old materials.
