Still looking for a DIY project to tackle this month? For those of you who sew (or can rope a friend or relative into it for you) Leslie of OneGirl Designwrks just released a pattern for her Fleur playmat and pillow creation. Not only are they really cute, but we like how they combine the concept of a taggie blanket with something practical.

The PDF pattern (for both the playmat and pillow) is $10 in her Etsy shop and, she says, is suitable for even beginning sewers. The playmat has some padding, but is also small and thin enough to tote around to grandmother's or the park.
