We often see items on the curb in our neighborhood--free for anyone to pick up that happens to be passing by. It's rare that we actually need what is on display, but sometimes it's fun to take the castaway home and see how we can incorporate it with our own decor...

And that's exactly what Christina has done with these two bike wheels. Picked up in her neighborhood, they add an interesting design element to the office. We like how the pair lends a rustic charm and pattern to the space. The repeated spokes combined with each wheel's circular form draws attention to the objects quite easily. We also like how the tires have been removed so we get only the silver quality of the bike wheels.
