Bathroom month may be over, but we are always up for sharing reader projects! Julia was kind enough to send us pics of her recent guest bathroom renovation. She explains, "We did all the work ourselves with the help of a plumber when it came to well, plumbing. We used a very economical slate on 2 walls and the floor and tiled in a brick pattern. The walls are a gloss mushroom and the ceiling a gloss latte color. Everything else is white, dark wood and mix of metals... (continued after the jump)"
"We lucked out with this stand alone custom tub purchased on ebay for $800 and picked up from the artist 5 miles away! The sink is Starck for Duravit, and the toilet also duravit. the light above the west elm medicine cabinet is a classic tolomeo from artmide. The entire gut job ran us less then $5000. The room is quite small 6ftx 8ft. I love being in this room and have claimed it as my own, except when guests are in town. Our on-suite bathroom is the last room to do in the house and is authentic 1965- and not the good version, so I try to avoid spending any time in there."
