We love Liz's reuse of a handsome door DIY'd into a dining room table. The features of this door in particular make it a great find to display in the home. Not to mention this door has a past--apparently it once lived at Jim Morrison's pad in Venice...

Regardless of its previous owner, Liz tells us the doors transformation to a table was quite easy. She wanted to keep the charming character of the door and kept it as-is (except for sanding away rough edges). A custom glass surface which turned out to be way less expensive than originally thought made this DIY super sweet. IKEA legs underneath and mismatched dining chairs round out the eclectic look. Liz continues her DIY prowess by remaking a tattered chair into something brand new.
