Flickr Finds: Eames-Style Office Chair & Desk

Holy Eames-chair revival goodness! Oh, and the desk matches perfectly too! Malesca says he purchased the items from the online Retro store and the chair was curiously called, "The Charles Office Chair." More pictures after the jump.

We're not Swedish, so if anyone could tell how much the chair costs on the Retro website, we'd greatly appreciate it! For the curious, the desk is the Svenska Hem (a Swedish chain); they call it Max. The screensaver is our favorite Fliqlo screensaver.

as best i can tell, the chair is $2,499 Krona, roughly $394 USD.

I'm actually a "he" (as seen in the picture frame reflection) :)

The chair was actually on sale, so more like 1700 SEK/$267 USD, but the price is now as stated above.

"Retro" is the name given for the chair (though the packaging said "Charles office chair"); the store is the Danish/Swedish chain Ilva.

More pictures soon; have tidied up the screen/computer setup a bit.

it's an interesting concept but it seems a little bit forced. i much prefer the actual eames office chairs.
