We're thrilled that many DC readers are tagging their flickr photos with "Apartment Therapy DC". This has led us to find flickr user picasso_blue_dog's fabulous apartment photos. We love the warm, red living and cool, blue bedroom. More photos of picasso_blue_dog's place below the jump...

The red and orange furniture and accessories are fantastic and the dog crate matches the living room decor.

The blue bedroom details give the room a calm feeling. The cluster of light blue photos above the bright dresser are nicely arranged and those colors are picked up in the quilt. Thanks, picasso_blue_dog!
We're also noticing lots of great before, during and after photos of your home projects. Please keep them coming and join the "Apartment Therapy DC" group.

I am really digging this place. Would love to know where the rug in the living room came from. We will be replacing the current wall to wall with hardwood laminate (we live in las vegas, have two dogs and two kids, real wood is not for us) but would love to find a red toned modernish rug to put in the room.... Love the boldness of this one!
I think that I bought something off of Craigslist from this apartment's residents: the bedroom and the (very adorable) dog look familiar. I especially loved the bold colors in the living room.
Nice coffee table.
Wow! This is really nice! Love the rug and the cute doggie!
Where can I get that bookcase, or a tall one like it? I have been looking for a nice book case for months! It has to be no longer than 4 ft across, and no taller than 7 ft. Any ideas?
Amy,
The rug is the Listed rug from Ikea. I bought one several years ago and have it in my bedroom. It is a thick, plush wool that is surprisingly high-quality. I've been very happy with it.
Unfortunately, I don't think it's available anymore. You might check Ebay or Craigslist if you can't find it at Ikea.
I too would love to know where you got the bookcases... they are great.
Not a fan. Too theme-y. Something directly out of HGTV. Cute dog!
I agree with the last post -- all of the red and orange is a bit much. I'm going to guess that the residents are not allowed to paint the walls of their apartment, which explains why they're compensating with the colors of all their decorations.
