Whether you're a mid-century modern enthusiast or not, it's the little details in Fil's apartment that we're taken with; the complete lack or electrical cords around the television, the repetition of yellow and orange against an otherwise minimal colour palette and even the Kay Bojesen hanging monkey. We are also impressed with Fil's complete collection of Wallpaper magazines, the first issue would not have been an easy find at any time in Australia!

How does that tv have no cords? I must know!
This is MCM done in a really inviting, approachable way. I like it a lot.
Indeed, love this and it's not just MCM, but a little mod thrown in there too along with a smattering of other modern styles such as Danish Modern pieces and yet it doesn't look like a museum AT ALL.
Love that Hesso lamp, but would prefer it in the red/orange instead of the white, or find a vintage one in yellow as they are now only sold in the red/orange and white.
This is one of my favorite of all time. I first saw it in midcenturymodernist.com a few months ago and have been peeking at his flickr site once in while. Very easy on the eyes...
Great designer pieces there. Not sure I agree with the big bulky steel fan in the middle of the at lounge room but the Noguchi Table base fits perfectly with the console table. Great taste in color too.
