Fil's Melbourne flat packs a lot into a small space. Filled with a combination of vintage Danish furniture, iconic mid-century pieces and smatterings of 1970's plastic-ware, this is clearly the home of a collector. Whilst it's easy for collections to spiral out of control, it's the clear preference for specific colours, timber finishes and forms that draw us to this apartment's assemblage.

Whether you're a mid-century modern enthusiast or not, it's the little details in Fil's apartment that we're taken with; the complete lack or electrical cords around the television, the repetition of yellow and orange against an otherwise minimal colour palette and even the Kay Bojesen hanging monkey. We are also impressed with Fil's complete collection of Wallpaper magazines, the first issue would not have been an easy find at any time in Australia!
